Easy To Assemble Like Legos
One of the things we love about these kits are how easy the steel tubes are connected with the steel couplers and simple self tapping screws. Also having the kits with pre-cut parts saves so much hassle and time. We used it to construct our showroom outdoor kitchen and had our entire frame assembled in a few hours without cutting. We found that it really helped to have an impact drill for the screws. An impact drill pushes as you screw making it much easier to get the self drilling screws into the thick 18 gauge steel tubes.
Easy To Customize the Size
We wanted to make one section of our Outdoor kitchen island 24 inch depth instead of the standard 32" depth that the module and kits come as. The DIY Outdoor Kitchen System offered us two options. Order there 24" module depth adaptor kit or to just trim the four end frame tubes with a chop saw. For the cutout kits that would go into the 24" depth frame we also needed to trim a couple parts that went depth wise as the telescoping cutout kits only telescope for width. Anything that goes depth wise is pre-cut for the standard 32" depth frames. For people who really do not want to cut they offer telescoping CTT's (sold separately) that can be used instead of cutting. But to keep cost down we just trimmed them. We also love their 4-8ft telescoping module that allowed us to get the perfect length on the job site without cutting.
